Network #2: Digital inclusion

The Nordic societies are heavily digitized but significant parts of the population are facing difficulties taking part. This causes digital exclusion which is a form of social exclusion and as our societies keeps digitizing, we risk marginalizing a growing number of persons. In addition, data security issues related to digitalization affect everyone, but especially those in vulnerable positions. In this network we will share knowledge and initiatives on how to create a more inclusive and safer digitalization. 

As a member you will get new insights on the subject, a chance to share your knowledge on the topic, learn from others, hear about best practices and innovations on the field, and possibly find new Nordic partners for cooperation.  

It is relevant for people, who work with digitalization issues or with individuals facing difficulties or challenges related to digitalization.

All members are expected to participate actively in the meetings and be ready to share their knowledge and experiences on the topic.

The added value of the network is created by its participants and their insights on the subject. There will be some suggested topics for the network to cover, but the network will set their aims, targets and agenda themselves. It is possible to invite external experts on the subject to the meetings as well. Preliminary questionnaire on work of the network will be sent to the participants prior to the first meeting. All meetings are online, and the spoken languages is English.
